Spring Break Days Nature Camp - Pollination Celebration
No homework required during this three-day mini camp for grades K-6. Spend your days off enjoying some good-natured fun with a Quarry Hill naturalist. Pollinators like bees, birds and butterflies have some of the most exciting, vibrant and important partnerships in nature. Come find out what all the buzz is about!
Spend 3 action packed days at Quarry hill to experience the wonders of pollination.
- Camp runs for three days - April 4, 5, 6 from 9:00 - 11:30 each day.
- Please wear appropriate dress for weather conditions.
- Campers should wear shoes that can get wet & muddy.
- Small class sizes ensure hands-on participation for all campers.
Each day will involve all of your senses; you'll put your survival skills to the test to survive as a member of a honeybee colony, play games that illuminate the social structures and adaptations of bees, make creations that will benefit the pollinators in our community, and even snack on some of the tasty products that pollinators make possible.
