Quarry Hill Nature Center is located in 320-acre Quarry Hill Park, often referred to as the "Jewel" of the Rochester Park system. Year round free admission, learn more about the Nature Center features here.
Did you know flying dragons exist? They do! We call them dragonflies and they hatch right out of the water! Join us around the pond as we learn all about the lifecycle of a dragonfly. We'll do a fun dragonfly craft and then we will grab nets to go search for baby dragonflies living in the shallows of the pond!read more

Quarry Hill Park was formerly the grounds of the Rochester State Hospital. Learn about some of the Park's historic structures before a short hike to tour the sandstone storage cave, carved in 1882.read more
