A Naturally Inspired Fundraising Gala for Quarry Hill Nature Center

Help catch, tag, and release monarch butterflies as they migrate through our area on their journey south to Mexico.
Free and open to all.
The City of Rochester and Olmsted County are participating in the Creating Belonging in Minnesota Parks — Artist Residency Pilot Program.
Cassandra Buck has been selected as a to create public art at Quarry HIll, Cascade Lake and Oxbow Park.
Art installation and public participation dates forthcoming.

Fall Festival is a carnival style outdoor event; activities include nature games, eco-friendly crafts, candle rolling, cave tours, canoeing, rock climbing, pumpkin decorating and more quintessentially Quarry Hill activities. Hot dogs, popcorn and beverages.
Admission to the festival is free.
Food and activity tickets are available for purchase at the gate for $1/ticket.
The nature center is also free and open all but four days of the year. Trained, knowledgeable staff welcome visitors and share their insights into what makes southeast Minnesota unique to the state and Upper Midwest.
